Sound Instruction Thru Film

James K. Hat at "Dummocrats" has pictures (and video!) of protests in Washington, D.C. today. And commentary of the best kind: snark.

There were a lot these signs as well, bearing the "not in our name" message. Most of them were carried by people that I'm pretty sure weren't old enough to vote and/or have never paid a dime of taxes in their lives. "Not in your name?" OK, sport. It's not in your name if you're not paying for it. When your parents stop claiming you as a dependent, maybe then you'll have standing to make that demand. Until then, might I suggest that you change your sign to read "Not in my Mommy and Daddy's name?"

I saw the televised planning meeting for the protest on C-Span last week. The girl speaking (and I use the term "girl" rather than woman to denote her age accurately)admitted that she was not in college and I question whether she was of voting age. Anyway, she explained that there was going to be A LOT of people there and that there would be puppets as well! I also think that maybe the protest was sponsored by the letter "L" and the number "5" ;)

I wonder if lower case n made an appearance. He's not lonely anymore.
