Carter's Wager

Long ago I promised myself to never get into a debate about evolution on the internet. Joe Carter did not.

I think his hypothetical experiment presents a new way of looking at intelligent design -- at least it's new to me -- and it seems like the sort of question that could launch a thousand grad-school dissertations.
